Jennifer is a Stott Pilates Instructor with seven years of training experience. She teaches proper alignment and movement using small props, stretching, equipment, and mat work. She specializes in rehabilitating the body after injury and pregnancy. Her focus is customizing workouts to challenge each individual's level of physical ability.
Jennifer injured her back, and Stott Pilates was the only movement system she found that continually reinforced proper posture, which nursed her back to health.
Having been in different fields before fitness, (financial, technology, and film production) she appreciates the simplicity of working directly with people and their bodies. Her goal is to help you understand and learn how to create space in your joints, ease muscle tension, and lengthen the body to create a supple, fluid, and strong support for your everyday motions. Being able to help on such an elementary level is deeply satisfying to Jennifer.
In her personal time Jen is a musician, an outdoor enthusiast, and lives each day with a zest for life.
